Dr. Quoc L. Nguyen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California in San Diego. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the world renowned New York University with high honors. He later completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Medical Center and its affiliated hospital Jesse Brown Veteran Affairs Hospital in Chicago. After finishing his residency, Dr. Nguyen worked as an associate at a reputable OMS group practice practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. During this time working in private practice, Dr. Nguyen held dual academic positions as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center and UIC Medical Center, where he was actively involved in resident education while talking ER call for maxillofacial trauma. In addition, Dr. Nguyen also held medical staff privileges at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois and Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. He has returned home to Southern California to be with his family and to provide an exceptional quality of surgical services for his patients at Laguna Hills Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery. Dr. Nguyen is on active medical staff at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills/San Clemente as well has Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo/Laguna Beach.

Dr. Nguyen likes to surf and loves to spend time with family and friends. He has four beautiful girls and one handsome boy!


We are excited to formally introduce Dr. Michelle Pashley who will be joining our practice! Drs. Pashley and Nguyen both received their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) training in Chicago. During Dr. Nguyen’s OMFS internship year at the program, Dr. Pashley mentored Dr. Nguyen as the acting chief resident of the program. Dr. Pashley has proved to be a dedicated professional who conducts herself with the upmost standards with a very compassionate skillful touch. We are very pleased to have Dr. Pashley on board to provide excellent oral surgery services and to be more accessible to your patients.
Dr. Michelle Pashley was raised in Orange County, California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California. She also went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California. She then completed an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Veterans Medical Center in Long Beach, California. She later went on to complete her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Pashley has performed volunteer Dental Care for the underserved people in rural areas in Mexico. After finishing her residency, Dr. Pashley worked as an Associate in an OMS group in both the Northern and Southern suburbs of Chicago. While working in private practice she additionally held an academic appointment as an Assistant clinical professor at UIC Medical center where she was actively involved in Resident education.
Dr. Pashley held medical staff privileges at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois as well as UIC Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Pashley now has returned home to Orange County to be with her family. She is committed to providing quality care to her patients at Laguna Hills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Pashley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Pashley maintains her certifications by the American Heart Association in Basic Life support and Advanced Cardiac Life support.
