dR. qUOC nGUYEN  

Dr. Quoc L. Nguyen is a highly respected and compassionate oral and maxillofacial surgeon, dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Nguyen’s expertise and commitment to excellence are well-recognized.

Dr. Nguyen began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He then achieved high honors while obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious New York University. Further honing his skills, he completed a rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Medical Center and the Jesse Brown Veteran Affairs Hospital in Chicago.

Following his residency, Dr. Nguyen gained valuable experience working as an associate at a reputable oral and maxillofacial surgery group practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. During this time, he also served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both Loyola University Medical Center and UIC Medical Center. His passion for education and patient care was evident as he mentored residents and managed maxillofacial trauma cases in the emergency room.

Dr. Nguyen also held medical staff privileges at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, and Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. His commitment to excellence in patient care and education is unwavering.

Now, Dr. Nguyen has returned to his roots in Southern California to be closer to his family and to continue providing high-quality surgical care to his patients at Laguna Hills Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery. He is an active medical staff member at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills/San Clemente and Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo/Laguna Beach.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Nguyen enjoys surfing and cherishes spending time with his family and friends. He is a proud father of five wonderful children—four beautiful girls and one handsome boy. 

Dr. Nguyen’s dedication to his patients and his profession is evident in every aspect of his work. He is committed to delivering compassionate, top-tier surgical services to the community he serves.

DR. MICHELLE PASHLEY

Dr. Michelle Pashley is a valued member of our practice. Drs. Pashley and Nguyen share a deep-rooted professional connection, having both received their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) training in Chicago. During Dr. Nguyen’s OMFS internship year, Dr. Pashley, as the acting chief resident of the program, mentored him, demonstrating her exceptional dedication and compassionate, skillful approach.

Dr. Michelle Pashley was raised in Orange County, California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California. Following her academic achievements, she completed an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Veterans Medical Center in Long Beach, California, and her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Pashley has a commendable history of volunteering dental care for underserved communities in rural areas of Mexico.

After her residency, Dr. Pashley worked as an Associate in an OMS group in both the Northern and Southern suburbs of Chicago. During this time, she also held an academic appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UIC Medical Center, where she was actively involved in resident education. Additionally, she held medical staff privileges at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and UIC Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Pashley has now returned home to Orange County to be with her family and to continue her commitment to providing quality care to her patients at Laguna Hills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Pashley also maintains her certifications by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
