Your First Visit: What to Expect
During your first appointment at Laguna Hills Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery, we will discuss your diagnosis and treatment options in detail. In some cases, surgery can be performed on the same day, but more complex cases may require a second appointment.
What to Bring:
- Referral Slip and X-Rays: If applicable, bring your referral slip and any x-rays.
- Medication List: Provide a list of your current medications.
- Insurance Information: Bring completed forms for any medical or dental insurance to help us process claims.
Note: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Preoperative Guidelines for IV Anesthesia
If you’re undergoing IV anesthesia, a preoperative consultation is required. Do not eat or drink for eight hours before surgery, and arrange for an adult to drive you home.
Medical Conditions
Notify us of any medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure) or medications that might affect your surgery.
X-Rays
If you have x-rays from your dentist or physician, please have them sent to our office, or bring them with you.
